What the hell is wrong with you people!?!
First, go read this article. It's about a man whose home was broken into by four men, armed with guns, intent on robbing him. The guy grabbed a samurai sword (probably only because he couldn't legally procure a firearm) and cut one of the assailants to ribbons.
In America, we call someone like that a "Hero." In Brittain, you can now call him a "Convict Doing Eight Years In Prison."
Would someone care to explain the logic of this to me?
