Am I the only one who finds it
strangely encouraging that in Iraq there's currently a black Marine Corp soldier from Detroit playing the bagpipes in a kilt for his fellow soldiers? He was inspired to take up the bagpipes by, naturally, a "small Hispanic" man. Here's the money quote:
"Kilts are something that fighting men wore many years ago, and we know that the Marines are fighting men. So real men wear kilts. And they are pretty comfortable too," he said.
Note to Scotland: look out, we're coming.
