Oh, baby, baby it's a wild world

Noted auditory terrorist Yusuf Islam, also known by the alias "Cat Stevens," was
hauled off an airplane the other day when he turned up on a terrorist watch list. Evidently, performing light music, at long last, has become a punishable crime in the United States.
One odd thing: the plane had already taken off when his name set off a red flag, so the plane had to be diverted to Bangor, Maine. At that point, Stevens/Islam was offloaded, and the plane continued on its journey. What I'd like to know is, what good are watch lists if you only spot a suspect name
after the plane is already in the air?!?
As for the reason Stevens/Islam is on a terrorist watch list:
Customs agents alerted the Transportation Security Administration, which then ordered the plane diverted to Bangor, Maine, and away from the northeast corridor of New York and Washington.
Islam, a British citizen, was held in Bangor before being taken Wednesday morning to Boston, where the Massachusetts Port Authority said he would be put aboard an afternoon flight to Washington. From there he will be sent back to London.
Officials said Islam was on the watch list because of alleged associations and financial support for Muslim charities
"The intelligence community has come into possession of additional information that further heightens our concerns of Yusuf Islam," Homeland Security spokesman Garrison Courtney told CNN. He would not describe the information further.
Another official said the department is "extremely confident in the information" which "without a doubt" is credible. Officials will not say which charities are involved.
Say it ain't so Moonshadow!
